Residents will have noted that work is due to commence at Chapel Lane to improve the roundabout. This is a Parish Council project to improve the appearance and access around the roundabout. it is hoped that this will prevent vehicles from repeatedly damaging the pedestrian safety railings. The railings will at the same time be replaced and there will be some essential carriageway repairs done. School Choir Competition

The Formby Festival will host the inaugural School Choir Competition for Formby school children, which the Formby Parish Council have organised. The Parish Council undertook a survey of under 18s in the community in the autumn of 2015 and this was one of the suggestions made by our young residents. The event will be held on Friday evening 15th July and will hopefully become an annual event.
